This countryside restaurant has grown in leaps in bounds from its humble beginnings as a mere farm stall, and today serves the best cappuccino in the province. Found on KZN’s Midlands Meander, it is set in a wonderful outdoor setting and is well worth the hour’s drive out of Durban for a family brunch.
Beach Bums – Ballito
This vibey spot found in Ballito, just 40 minutes north of Durban, is set directly on the beach and serves gigantic cocktails, delicious pizzas and snack baskets. Sit with your toes in the sand, catch some rays and feel like a ‘Durbanite’ for the day.
