Emirates airline and SA tourism marketing pact to boost tourism


Emirates airline and SA tourism have concluded a marketing pact to boost tourist numbers to the country.

Emirates’ divisional senior vice president mentioned in a statement that South Africa was a very important market for Emirates and that the agreement between the two parties reinforces the commitment to promote inbound tourism to the country.

He went on to mention that South Africa was a diverse country with a rich heritage, world-renowned cuisine and the friendliness of South Africans made the country a very attractive destination for leisure travellers and adventure seekers.

South Africa’s chief executive went on to state that the Middle East region could make a significant contribution to the local tourism industry. He later went on to mention that the importance of increased airlift to the country is the key to make it more accessible to tourists from across the globe.
