Wave your Flag…for SA beaches!
Twenty seven of South Africa’s beaches are waving blue flags following a decision by the independent non-profit organisation, Foundation for Environmental Education (FEE).
Since launched in 1987, the Status has been awarded to over 3450 beaches in 41 Countries across Europe, South Africa, Morocco, Tunisia, New Zealand, Brazil, Canada and the Caribbean and is based on Water Quality, Environmental Education and Information, Environmental Management and Safety.
